The University Of Calabar, Calabar (UNICAL) Directorate Of Pre-Degree Programme on behalf of The Centre For Educational Services (CES) has announced Pre-drgree supplementary Admission for 2016/2017.

First Method: ELECTRONIC PIN
Walk into any Bank Branch nationwide.
Request to make payment for University of Calabar C.E.S application form 2016/2017 on E-Tranzact Platform
Pay the sum of ₦8,000 (Eight thousand naira only) and obtain payment slip containing a unique PIN.
Login with the generated pin for the C.E.S application.

On obtaining the scratch or e-scratch candidates should log on to http://myunical.edu.ng and select “CES Online Application” from the C.E.S menu tab on the home page.
The next page will require the candidate to enter his/her phone number and e-scratch card pin or scratch card pin against the fields provided and click login.

Please all prospective corps member who are due to be called up should read this publication very and apply all that are said about it. For those who are participating in this exercise are to be notified that the NYSC 2016 Batch B stream 2 Time table and date have been announced and the exercise will commence beginning from January 2017. From the information we got from the spokesman of the NYSC, was that all things that were needed to carry out a successful camping for the NYSC 2016 Batch B stream 2 have been made available and that all 2016 NYSC Batch B Stream 2 prospective corps members will be mobilized in this month of January.
According to Brigdier-General Suleman Kazaure who happens to be the new NYSC Director General, “a second stream orientation course for the 2016 NYSC Batch B stream is now planned for January 2017 all prospective call members are to be aware and get themselves registered.
From our sources who were on ground reported that it was on the 16th of January that The NYSC 2016 Batch B Stream 2 time table orientation courses was released by the National Youth Service Corps management.
Please all prospective corps member are to take note of the following important information.
1. For prospective corps member who could payment during the online registration will begin collection of their call-up letters in their various institutions from 20th January. So please take note.
2. For those who made their payments online, they should start printing their call up later from Wednesday 19th January, 2017.
3. Please prospective corps members are expected to present their academic credentials and other relevant document that will be needed and they should be uploaded during the online registration at the orientation camp for verification.
4. There will be need to present a medical certificate from any Government of Military hospital by all prospective before they will be registered for the orientation course.
5. Please note that NYSC 2016 Batch B Stream 2 registration and verification exercise will begin on 24th January 2017 and will end 0n the 25th at midnight.

Then you are to Enter your Dashboard and login your email and password you registered with during your online registration. At this point, you are to click on Print Call-up Letter on your Dashboard.

University of Ilorin
The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) on Monday stated that adequate security has been put in place, in and around its campus to prevent any incident that might affect peace and tranquillity in the University
The Deputy Director of the Corporate Affairs Department of the institution, Mr Kunle Akogun, who made it known stated that following UNIMAID explosions, the university was taking no chances in its bid to protect the school.
He said “Adequate security measures have been put in place and staff and students of the Institutions have been advised to report any suspicious movement around the campus”.
He advised everyone on the campus to be vigilant, even though it is only God that gives ultimate protection, adding that the University has ensured 24 hours security all over the campus.
